Qualifying Player Rule

While the Hiroshima Cock's-eye 3-Player Mahjong Club is a non-discriminatory sort of outfit in almost every sense and welcomes with open-handed generosity all guests and sundry to share an occasional wallet-diminishing seat at the hallowed tables, the said Hiroshima Cock's-eye 3-Player Mahjong Club wishes to stipulate that, in order to qualify for the coveted prize of "Mahjong Genius" (a bull, rampant, cunningly fashioned out of clay) or of "Mahjong Dunce" (a plastic duck on a string that is ceremonially placed around the miserable loser's neck), as awarded by the HC'sE3PMJ League Table Central Committee (and Tim) at the first opportunity in the New Year following, a player must have played at least 20% of the number of games played by the player who has played the most games of all.
